MERCL is the research arm of the only Christian-based lobby in support of US-Israel relations. From our Washington office, a small team of dedicated professionals help educate US lawmakers and their constituents. This is done through rigorous research to underpin CIPAC’s lobbying campaigns. Our national network of volunteers and supporters use the in-depth analysis from MERCL to effectively advocate for Israel to their elected representatives and local media.

Friday, March 10 – Depart the US from Washington, Newark or Los Angeles, with others on mission.
Saturday, March 11 – Arrive Ben Gurion to be greeted by guide for quick trip to Jaffa boutique hotel. Short stroll to dine with VIP guests.
Sunday, March 12 – Arise to Med views over breakfast, then drive South to tour Kibbutz Hatzerim and Air Force Museum with special guides to historic highlights. Visit Israelis relocated from Sinai due to 1982 peace treaty with Egypt and 2005 Gaza withdrawal. Return Tel Aviv to see Hall where Israel’s 1948 independence declared and famed Tel Aviv Museum. See UNESCO World Heritage Site White City Bauhaus buildings; Purim celebrations downtown Tel Aviv. Second restful overnight.
Monday, March 13 – Drive to Samaria to visit friends at Ariel’s museum and in Sha’are Tikva home for desserts and coffee before tour with mayor. Return to Jaffa’s narrow lanes, unique art galleries and port on walk to discuss culinary arts with chef over dinner before last Jaffa rest.
Tuesday, March 14 – North to view Caesarea and other Med coastline towns on way to Haifa to see Elijah’s Mt. Carmel, Baha’i Gardens with super view of the North – and to board Navy ship at base. After lunch on to Megiddo (“Armageddon” and Eli’s jewelry) and Gideon’s Spring, all before Tiberias boutique hotel for dinner, swim and well-deserved night’s rest.
Wednesday, March 15 – Explore Golan from Mt. Bental, Valley of Tears, Gamla, and Golan’s ancient “Stonehenge”, to Katzrin, the lovely capital, for multimedia Golan Magic display, then Da Karina Chocolate Factory or winery and more. Back to hotel for Dinner, discourse (diamonds?) and good rest.
Thursday, March 16 – Start with Yardenit Jordan baptismal (or shopping option). On to Magdala dig to see new discoveries. Embark at Kibbutz En Gedi Jesus boat museum in boat to Capernaum. Ascend Beatitudes Mt. for views. After sea lunch, visit Beit Shean Roman dig, on way to Jordan Valley up to Jerusalem. Dinner talks with special guest at hotel and night’s rest.
Friday, March 17 – Garden Tomb for Communion (or shopping ). On to Judea to meet Israelis in such towns as Tekoa, Efrat, and Hebron. Evening dinner discussions and second overnight in Jerusalem.
Saturday, March 18 – Coach down to Salt (not Dead) Sea for Judean desert views, camel rides, Masada ascent, Ein Gedi Falls, and Qumran Dead Sea scrolls site and return for dinner and overnight.
Sunday, March 19 – Old City Kotel and tunnels, Temple Mt. , Greek, Catholic Russian and Christ churches (each if open) for architecture and art. Then on to such New City sites as the Knesset, High Court, Yad Vashem and Israel Museums. Ben Yehuda shopping mall and our friends’ home Jewelry workshop. Gala farewell dinner and final night’s rest in Jerusalem.
Monday, March 20 – Last breakfast and on to memory-filled flights home.
